Quota Monitor is an independently versioned TraceFence plugin. On supported Mac models, its persistent Touch Bar Control Strip AI entry shows one quota for the active Agent, lets you cycle windows or switch Agents, and returns to automatic follow when needed.

What does TraceFence control?

TraceFence controls supported local AI agent sessions from the Mac host and paired iPhone, with actions determined by each adapter.

Are TraceFence plugins updated with the host?

No. Each plugin has its own version and can be updated or rolled back without updating the TraceFence host.

Does TraceFence use a cloud relay for agent traffic?

No. TraceFence Sentinel connects to the paired Mac over LAN, Tailscale, VPN, or another network tunnel operated by the user.

What happens when an adapter is read-only?

TraceFence keeps the session visible but does not show controls that the adapter cannot execute.

Does TraceFence include Touch Bar quota monitoring?

The Quota Monitor plugin adds a native macOS Touch Bar Control Strip entry on supported Mac models, showing one active Agent quota at a time with cycling, Agent switching, automatic follow, and hide controls.
